Randall Terry Quotes

"I don't think Christians should use birth control. You consummate your marriage as often as you like and if you have babies, you have babies."

[Randall Terry, one of the people behind the current campaign to blockade health clinics and publicly harass and humiliate women]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Let a wave of intolerance wash over you. I want you to let a wave of hatred wash over you. Yes, hate is good.... If a Christian voted for Clinton, he sinned against God. It's that simple.... Our goal is a Christian Nation... we have a biblical duty, we are called by God to conquer this country. We don't want equal time. We don't want Pluralism. We want theocracy. Theocracy means God rules. I've got a hot flash. God rules."

[Randall Terry, Head of Operation Rescue, from The News Sentinel, Fort Wayne, Indiana, Aug 15, 1993]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"When I, or people like me, are running the country, you'd better flee, because we will find you, we will try you, and we will execute you. I mean every word of it. I will make it part of my mission to see to it that they are tried and executed... If we're going to have true reformation in America, it is because men once again, if I may use a worn out expression, have righteous testoserone flowing through their veins. They are not afraid of contempt for their contemporaries. They are not even here to get along. They are here to take over... Somebody like Susan Smith should be dead. She should be dead now. Some people will go, "Well how do you know God doesn't have a wonderful plan for her life?" He does, it's listed in the Bible. His plan for her is that she should be dead."

[Randall Terry, founder of Operation Rescue, at the Aug 8, 1995 U.S. Taxpayers Alliance Banquet in Washington DC, talking about doctors who perform abortions and volunteer escorts]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Intolerance is a beautiful thing...There are people that are politically correct that want to say the cardinal sin of the hour is intolerance and I think that is a bunch of junk."

[Randall Terry, Operation Rescue]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"What it is coming down to is who runs the country. It's us against them. It's the good guys versus the bad guys. It's the God-fearing people against the pagans, and some of the pagans are going to church."

[Speech in Jackson, Mississippi, April 1992]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Our goal must be simple. We must have a Christian nation built on God's law, on the ten Commandments. No apologies."

[Speech to "Cities of Refuge" campaign, Willoughby Hills, Ohio, July, 1993.]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"We want our nation and all its institutions to be self-consciously built on the laws and principles of God's Word...We are at war -- a cultural civil war, a war of allegiances. If righteousness is going to prevail, if paganism is going to be turned back, then we must move to restore this nation to being a Christian Nation."

[Randall A. Terry, founder of Operation Rescue]

"If righteousness is going to prevail; if paganism is going to be turned back, then we must move to restore this nation to being a Christian Nation. Otherwise, we will lose the war for America’s soul, and the United States as we know it will perish. And if we are going to reform and rebuild our country, we’re going to have to deliberately infiltrate the power bases of America. We’ll deliberately have to raise up men like John Adams and Teddy Roosevelt to be morally correct, not politically correct statesmen" (Why Does a Nice Guy Like Me Keep Getting Thrown in Jail?
 pp.80-81).

I am an ex-Christian and am quite familiar with Chick publications. The anti-Tract parodies were fantastic! Really cool stuff. Now you've got to publish them like "This is Your Death" so people can pass them out!! Hahaha.
No religious propaganda is more blatantly theo-fascist, braindead and just plain retarded as Chick publications, although they do have a certain reverse humor value which is not apparent except under the influence of hallucinogens.

Love these parody tracts, wish there were a lot more.

Here's an example of a blatant lie in the Chick publication "Are Catholics Christians?" The host has the letters IHS stamped on it which Chick informs us represents Isis Horus and Set. This is pure BS. IHS is from the time of Constantine and represents the Latin phrase In Hoc Signo (vinces) or In This Sign (you will conquer), a reference to his apparent vision of a Cross in the sky and resulting conversion. Leave it to Chick to get the truth ass-backwards and deliberately slander every group they detest and abhor which is just about everybody!

Got any actual proof that Terry ever said any of this? Links to the actual newspaper articles? Prove he said any of this.

You realize that you are commenting on an article that is three years old, don't You? Why don't you click on the link to "Why Does a Nice Guy Like Me Keep Getting Thrown in Jail?" where you can buy a copy of this book for one cent. A penny is probably more than what this man's opinions are worth.

Do you really think someone is going to go to the trouble to verify quotes cited in an thread that is NEARLY NINE YEARS OLD for your convenience??? Do your own damn research, and -- if you're honest -- you'll find that Randall Terry was every bit as much of a jerk as he revealed himself to be more than a decade ago. That is, if you're really interested in digging up some "ancient" history.

Amazing. Who wants to defend morons like Terry Randall? It's like those people who want to defend Jack Hyles.
