I couldn't understand the dialogue. To me though, one thing is obvious to any rational human being. The Gods of all the various religions did not bring about creation of mankind, nor all of various rules that religions dictates that we should follow.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting. In my opinion he is too hesitant to apply anything to modern human life. It is not surprising, considering the fact that he is a socialist.
ReplyDeleteHis take on free will bugged me. Anyone else? He seems to claim that we have free will, and that it is a matter of degrees, i.e. the old "no-gun-to-my-head" thing. I think it is a much bigger philisophical question than that. Of course we think we can "choose," that is what makes it such an interesting question!

ReplyDeleteJust glancing over that site, it seems VERY slanted towards faith and mysticism. It really takes away from it, they could have been very interesting interviews.
