And the answer is...?

Here are some questions I have asked the religious, without recieving replies. Perhaps someone here may be able to enlighten me why is it so?

  • If the god of the bible is omniscient and omnipotent why did he create humans in the full knowledge that many would be sinful, and then commit them to eternity in hell? Would that not be macabre behaviour, i.e. to create beings he knows he is going to torture for all eternity?

  • If God is omniscient and omnipotent and built the world in six days, why did he not finish it inasmuch as it still is in progress of being built by movement of tectonic plates in the earths crust, earth quakes, tsunamis, volcanoes etc.?

  • If God is omniscient and omnipotent why cannot he communicate his wishes more clearly in order to eliminate the confusing array of Christian sects? Instead of carving his wishes in stone as given to Moses? Why does he not write his messages in the some modern technical media clearly without ambiguity?

  • If Jesus died on the cross to pay for mankind’s sins, why apparently are some still condemned to hell?

  • If Limbo does not exist now as declared by the present Pope, what happened to the babies that were placed there because they were not baptised? And what happens to those babies now and those just born and yet to be born? Do they go to heaven or hell?

  • If God as a plan for all mankind, is it not impudence of the highest order to pray to him to change his mind when one objects to particular parts of his plan?

  • If prayer can heal sufferers of illnesses why cannot prayer heal amputees? After all Jesus brought back to life putrid corpses didn't he?

  • If God is merciful why did he kill millions of men, women and children in Noah's flood and perform so many such acts as described in the bible for mankind behaving badly? Is that the behaviour of a loving father?

  • If God is responsible for all life why did he create diseases?

  • Some say God create only good, the Devil created the bad, so why did God the all powerful one create the Devil?

"A Sabbatical?" or "My Anti-Testimony"

I first posted this "testimony" to the web on July 27, 2001. Logical Proof that God doesn't exist - Prayer

By Sailorfraud The Bible says God is almighty who answers your prayers. So how do you know if God is real other than that faith crap? Try the power of prayer when an earthly situation occurs which is beyond your control and only an almighty God who created the universe and all life can control. Suppose you or a close family member has a terminal disease like cancer which cannot be medically cured? A certain time line is given, so like all hopeful human beings, you humbly and diligently pray to the almighty God who says in the Bible he answers prayers. Time and reality passes, the disease takes it's toll, and your prayers go unanswered. Maybe one in a million may be saved, but looking at a 99.9999% failure rate for prayer is evidence that God does not exist. Now, compare it to an atheist who suffers the same terminal disease and wishes for healing. The same 99.9999% failure rate occurs.
