Very Cool graphics but I'm still not overly impressed. Islam is just another Pagan religion with Mohammad plagurizing(sic) the OT..
And so is Christianity, if you care to look at the nature of Pagan Man Gods. Mark is a repackaging of Jesus to read as a Greek play (the Jews had no theatrical tradition, so the whole structure of Mark is foreign. Thus the same can be said for Matt and Luke) John is an oddity, since its predominately a saying gospel in the Jewish tradtion, with anti-Jewish glosses added. The Apocryphal Sayings Gospel of Thomas is probably the best surviving example of what Jesus taught, before it all became the cult of Mithras with a new name. :)
I always condider the post Nicea incarnation of Christianity rather like an arch... all of the stuff that was used to get it where it is has been removed and dumped. Take a look at the infancy Gospel of 'Thomas' (not the same Thomas of the sayings, but in interpolation on Luke) as an example of how pagan Christian thought was in the early days... and how it was sold to the Romans and the Greeks... The body count is impressive.
anyone know the title of the song playing in the background?
Great video btw. Fundamentalist Islam is scary.

"Mad world" is by REM? Now that you mention it... I thought it was Tears for Fears, but that sure sounds like Michael Stipe...
Anonymous (why didn´t you use your own name?), Mohammed indeed plagiarized the Bible. And you know why? Because he had seen it worked. And he figured: Hey, if they can do it, so can I. And he was right.
It doesn´t matter whether what you say is true, anonymous... it only matters that what you tell people is what they, at some level, want to hear. Tell them they can be special. Tell them that they can be on God´s side. Tell them that it is OK to hate people - in the name of God (yes, Jesus said it, too).
Sounds a lot like what the Devil´s supposed to do, isn´t it?

Leonard was right, Mad World is by Tears For Fears. Gary Jules did a cover version.
R.E.M. did a song called The End of the World As We Know it, which is also one of my favorites
The video is a great statement of how religion has taken over our planet like a pandemic disease.
I think to myself in these days of constant turmoil that the human condition is sad. People are still killing one another in the name of made up gods our ancestors invented. The fact that so many still believe this superstition makes me wonder if this planet will survive the ignorance of individuals who would rather destroy it so whatever god they believe in will come take them to a place called euphoria.
The video didn't represent Christianity as being violent or crazy. It just showed alot of Christians praying, clapping hands and singing like drones, etc. The video should have shown a bunch of dead Jews that had been killed by Christian Hitler's Nazi regime. Too bad there are no pictures of the aftermath of the Spanish Inquisitions and the Crusades. The video was representing the present and Christians on the surface are peaceable people compared to Islam and Judaism, HOWEVER, if we could look into all the minds that Christianity has tormented, the hearts it has broken, the families it has divided, the lives it has taken, the personalities it has warped, and the relationships it has irreparably ruined, we would have to turn our heads from the horror. Religion is a stain on humanity.

saying hitler was Christian is like saying Kim Jon Il is Buddhist. just because someone says they are of a certain faith does not mean they represent it in any way. and you're right, if you look into Christianity's past, there's a lot of crap that people did in the name of the Church, but realize that the Church at that time was more about power than Jesus.
Bob, have you ever really studied what went on in the Middle Ages, or what they believed or why? Have you read even one book on the topic?
Have you ever read what Hitler had to say in regards to Christianity? Have you read anything on the subject?

The church is STILL about power. You can't get promoted in a lot of organizations unless you go to church with somebody who's already at the top.
It's not what you know, it's who you know. So let's not "neglect the assembling of ourselves together."

So, LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT... EVERY Christian on the face of the earth is a loon and a hypocrate. EVERY Muslim on the face of the earth is a terrorist. EVERY religious person is blind. WOW! let us turn from the evils of religion and let us worship at the temple of REM and popculture. There we will apperantly find the truth. I am a Christian, so what should I do, what is the alternative? What are the answers you ENLIGHTENED thinkers offer? MTV philosophy? No thanks.
actually guys, the song Mad World is a Tears for Fears original, but Michael Andrews' version is the one you hear on this video. It can be found on the album "Donnie Darko, Original Score".

I imagine it wasn't your intention, but you just added some weight to the argument against relgion.
Thanks.
