Every time I try to watch one of these videos, it plays for 3 seconds, pauses for 20 seconds, etc. This has been going on for weeks. Consequently, I don't see any of them.

I've got FiOS, I regularly run several scans, and everything else downloads just fine.

Any suggestions?

It's a problem with YouTube. Just come back later and it will likely work fine.
