On the off chance Huckabee wins...

I've been thinking about what would happen if Mike won the and really did change the to "God's Laws". One thing for sure, the rock business would get a big boost!

I hate Mike Huckabee. He's a fucking moron.

Even if he did win, I don't think secularists would allow him to do what he thinks he is going to do, and I still don't think most Americans are stupid enough to vote for him.

It wouldn't matter if you screamed louder than a Chrysler air raid siren, if you had the extremely bad fortune to be a raped Muslim woman. Wouldn't have happened if you'd been with your brother. In fact, your dear Bro would probably lead the onslaught of granite.

The wrath of Allah, Ra, Horus, etc?

An angry God doesn't want Huckabee to be president because he praises a false god. Just after he won in Tennessee, Arkansas and Alabama, some God responded by taking vengeance on the people who voted for him with a multitude of tornadoes in those areas. Coincidence, I think not!!

I wonder why Pat Robertson didn't predict this? Oh yeah, his god is imaginary, and he's insane.

Here's Pat Robertson's prediction for 2007: "Robertson predicted that a terrorist act, possibly involving a nuclear weapon, would result in mass killing in the United States. Noting that it hadn't come to pass, Robertson said, "All I can think is that somehow the people of God prayed and God in his mercy spared us."

The last sentence is remarkably similar to observations that led to the psychological definition of cognitive dissonance, that is apparent with many Christians.

Remember, Robertson suggested that God punished former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon with a stroke for ceding Israeli-controlled land to the Palestinians.

Praise Allah?

Cheers

I heard on the radio this morning
about some tornados yesterday in
Tennesee. They had a voice bite
of a woman whose trailer had been
destroyed, but she thanked God for
sparing her family. So if there is
a God,he let a tornado demolish
her home, but she praises him
anyway! A God that wants thanks
even after he's blown apart your
home?

If Huckabee or someone like him
ever gets elected President, this
is the kind of thinking the country
will have to deal with!

Ace, I heard a similarly ridiculous report this morning. The guy being interviewed was injured, but not killed, when a tornado hit his trailer. He said, "...God didn't want me to leave yet." When asked about his neighbor who didn't make it, he said, "...Jesus took her..." There's just no way for their god to lose!

I also heard some no brain comments last night about the storms.

Cretins just don't have a clue.

Several governors got together recently and held a prayer meeting for drought relief, better known as, praying for rain. That in itself shows that they believe a god is responsible for the weather. Then, storms such as what happened in the south two days ago come their way, and when they are lucky enough to survive, they thank their god, who sent the storms in the first place. Now that's what I call first class thinking!

I remember biking a few years ago and a huge thunderstorm overtook me and lightning was popping but I made it home. When I came in, I told my wife that god had tried to get me with his lightning bolts but had missed. She didn't appreciate the humor in it at all.

As for Mike Yuckabee, I don't think he stands a chance. If he does, we all are doomed. In other words, if the people are that stupid, we don't have a chance. I am holding on the the "we can't be that stupid" idea myself, although sometimes I wonder. Jim Earl

BREAKING NEWS!

Romney just suspended his campaign.

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/02/07/romney.campaign/index.html

So now, only McCain and Ron Paul stand between this idjit getting the Republican nomination.

I'd rather see Huckabee resign than I would've Romney.

I'm sure Huckabee will not resign due to his christian arrogance along with his delusion that God wants him to stay in the race.

I'm really surprised that Romney resigned. I thought he was ahead of Huckabee in the polls.

It wasn’t Huckabee that Romney was considering; it was the more successful gentleman from Arizona.

Huckabee, for his part, runs his life, his politics, and his campaign on unreality. Unreality also describes Huckabee’s chance of winning, thereby being a likely non-factor in Romney’s decision.

It looks like that son of a bitch Huckabee is gaining more political ground since Romney dropped out.

I can think of a few possible reasons Romney dropped out early.

One, is that he has seen the writing on the wall from the initial numbers and projected his chances for competing with McCain until the end for the party nomination.

However, seeing that he was behind McCain, and knowing if he continued he would be splitting the religious vote with Huckabee, he could have made a deal with McCain for preferential consideration for a VP position, if McCain wins the presidency.

Also, he may have made a second deal at the same time with Huckabee, suggesting he would pull out of the race to prevent splitting the religious vote, if Huckabee gave him preferential consideration for VP, if Huckabee were to win the presidency.

I suppose what I'm saying, is that no one just 'pulls' out of a race that they have invested heavily in, without a strategic plan. And, the plan that would seem to benefit Romney the best, would be to accept his inability to compete with McCain, and target a VP position, with the winner.

This race is a circus; just thinking about the Pres/VP team that will rise from the election on either side.

A note of interest in my line of work; wonder how long it will be after a new cabinet is elected, before an extremist group commits an act of aggression, to test the resolve of the newly elected officials, whoever they are.

I just know that if Huckabee gets elected moving to Canada will look even more appealing to me personally, and I'm not just talking about it either.

That fanatical asshole will set this country back so far into the dark ages that it will take years for us to recover, that is if we ever do recover.

America cannot afford to have an extremist nut like Huckabee as president. It's no wonder the Europeans and other countries laugh and make fun of us.

Look at the dumb asses that run for office.
Not that i am For hukabee, but, does anyone really think that IF he made it to office he could ( or would) change anything? Do some think it is realilistic that a christian, even a fundmantlaist, in office would even have the power to make "God's Laws" of any affect? Do ya think there is a threat there? because i dont.

Who ever is president has a cabinet of advisors and a pre-ordained sets of ordinances, and many constituants to obey before they get their ideas for radical change in the works.

While we may let someone like Hilary penalize the masses without medical insurance, and we will let Bush start a war, but there is NO WAY we would let some religious guy stone a rapist. Simply becasue it might upset the entire system. And offend someone.

religious policy would NEVER PASS.
